As a result of my Impact Training I have learned to love myself which has created the space for me to love others at a much deeper level than I had ever dreamed was possible. I have healed relationships that had felt broken by applying the life tools I have learned here to create loving communication in all of my relationships. I have learned gratitude for every experience and every person in my life by learning to recognize that good news and the lessons in each experience I have experienced the true depths of forgiveness and emotional and physical healing. Before the Impact Training’s Quest Training, I was like a horse in a small corral that could only go around in small circles to and fro, but could not seem free and could only eat and drink what was brought to her fully relying on others to take care of her.

After the Impact Training’s Quest Training, I feel like that beautiful spirit horse running free with no fences to stop her from running and floating over the mountains and sagebrush. My head being held high and feeling no boundaries of stopping my forward movement and running forever being able to jump creeks and swim in rivers.

FREEDOM!

Before Impact Training’s Quest: I felt as if I were a very tired dog – brown – that had been beaten all it’s life – came out to play with everyone as a happy puppy but was moved away by abuse, threats, unkindness – come back again wagging my tail so happy to see my master he once again beat me – I ran away with my tail between my legs to hide.

After Impact Training’s Quest & Summit: I felt like a free spirit. I feel like there are no limits to my possibilities, direction. I feel like an eagle ready to take flight for the first time – above the trees as high as I can go down through the canyons – above the streams – I can smell the smells around me – orange blossoms – pine trees, snow, rain, grass, desert bloom. I am awake, I am alive, I am living my best me!! FREEDOM!

A world filled with love

My vision of a healed world is a world filled with love. The trees would be green, tall, free of disease. A world without smog and pollution. Where there was love everywhere, no hate, no crime and everyone lived in spiritual harmony ~ open and honest and trusting. A world where there are no children that go hungry at night and have proper clothing. A ‘home’ for everyone. No one sleeping on the streets, no children neglected by parents abusing drugs. The fields would be filled with fruits and vegetables for all. We would all reap what we had set to harvest together. No war, no killing another human being. No religious conflict. No environmental pollution put out by the unconsciousness of greed. Everyone would be conscious of every moment, living for today. A reflection of God’s eyes and hand’s living among us.

A Butterfly’s Story

My life began as thus…. I came into the world normally and progressed averagely. What trials and tribulations came I bore on my shoulders as I trudged on. I had no illusions of grandeur and glory; I simply tucked my chin and moved forward.

I had food to eat and a place to rest, I worked hard and honestly as I provided my daily needs and didn’t waste time on what could have been or could possibly still be.

It was in this mediocre march that God saw fit to burden me with obstacles and pain. My world became dark and binding. I felt as though every breath was a struggle and no longer found the will to engage in that steady climb of living the same way; traveling the same path that I had.

In the dark, my hope was diminished all the world became a haze and surely the restrictions of my stresses were too great for my strength. As I starved emotionally and physically and steadily spiraled into despair I stopped short of the point of utter devastation and death. Here at this place of pain and futility my soul’s fire refused to extinguish and the glimmer of light hidden deep within began to reach and stretch for a home. I cried to my God and emptied my heart. I begged for mercy and love. I claimed the desires that had lain dormant within me; smothered by a history of unworthy beliefs about who and what I was.

I confessed my weaknesses. I humbled myself in the knowledge that truly I could not see a way out of the bleakness all around me. I honored the Lord and openly accepted that it would be He and He only who could preserve and sustain me. I begged to be free and consented to His will. I poured out my soul day and night; I meditated, and pondered and prayed until there was all said that could be, all felt and expressed that was in me- and when complete; I rested. I trusted. I knew that all I could possibly do- I had done and the course of my destiny now lay in God’s hands….here there was peace.

As the darkness continued and time seemed to stop, a new desire began blossoming inside me; a thirst to stretch and grow and change and to BE; a passionate resolve to claim who I really am and see myself as God sees me; a DIVINE and BEAUTIFUL being created for a DIVINE and BEAUTIFUL existence; bathed in abundance and joy.

My desire grew, burning and tingling throughout me. I knew that God’s generosity and love was real and beyond my darkness and limited vision a world of peace, color, sunshine and LIGHT welcomed me.

I committed myself to COURAGE and honor and trust; I reached, I stretched, I risked, I jumped…..

I spread my wings- where no wings had been before and with faith in God I embraced the sky.

I chose to let go of ALL I thought I was and thought I had and trusted the Lord to be my provider and Savior and Redeemer and followed my heart. The world became mine and I KNEW that it WAS created for me. I danced and sang and played in the light. I praised the Lord by living life fully and honoring my talents and gifts. Living in joy and passion and abundance as I trusted my destiny and path God laid for me, I learned that God had desired for me more then I was- he had blessings and incomprehensible miracles awaiting for me.

The sky is my playground, freedom is my song, nectar is my sustenance, soft petals are my place of rest, and beauty is my existence. When I could not see the possibilities for me, God knew them as my truth. When I could not see my Divinity – He ONLY saw my Divinity. He blessed me with a prison so I could know the strength, power and joy of breaking free.

The greatest lessons I have learned about myself through Impact Trainings is that I am beautiful and divine. I have been holding back a gift to the world that only I can give ~ that is the gift of myself. I am committed to give myself to the world. I own my voice.

My vision of a healed world is one in which we all interact more with each other. Presently I see us as just ship’s passing in the night. When I choose into interact in people’s lives I touch their life. They touch mine. Power and energy are transferred ~ Life’s are blessed ~ a ripple occurs that render further than just that interaction. We have forgotten this ~ we forget that if we choose not to interact we are very lonely indeed.

The greatest way my life has changed is how I interact with my children and my wife. I use the tools daily. I recognize how expectations have created frustration in my life I love choosing the language and path of increase and stepping “left” when I don’t find what I am doing is working.

It’s been twelve years since walking through the Impact Training Quest doors. Wow!!! The difference in my life since my Impact Training has been, and continues to be amazing. My relationships with all of my family, and myself have shifted so incredibly and I learned to allow myself to be loved, to let people in, that I was the only one holding the door closed. How exciting it was and has been to keep the door wide open. My greatest lesson was that I am the only one in charge…I was the one keeping myself separate. No more…..I was able to let go of so much fear and mistrust. I recognized that my fear was that no one would love me if they knew who I was…Now I know who I truly am, a beautiful, inspiring, joyful woman of light, absolutely loving this journey called life, embracing everyone and everything in my path and it is EXCITING.I am in awe of how much my life has shifted since the Impact Training. My experiences continue to assist me everyday of my life. I absolutely love myself, making it so easy to love my family, all the people I share my life with. I have so much more abundance…I laugh more, I play more, I love my life knowing that I am the creator of my every moment…what a blast!!! One of the greatest lessons I learned at Impact Training was that I am worth owning myself! I own my feelings, my opinions, my mistakes, my power, etc. and it’s ok. Not only is it ok, it makes life so much easier. It is so great to be able to say things like, “You know, I think the best thing for you is to talk to her about what you’re feeling”…or “that makes me uncomfortable, how about ____.” It’s like Impact Training gave me permission to set boundaries for myself, and express my feelings and ideas without worrying about what others think. BEING me is so much easier than trying to be what I’m guessing others want me to be. Who’da thunk? Thank you Impact Training!!!!!! I’m breathing! And the air out here is so nice!!!

I have had learning opportunities all the way including my experiences in Lift Off. I have taken it on and know that it will benefit me and others forever. I can actually go for it in life and feel in love all the time. I have made the choice to love myself again and as a result, I have walked away from drugs and alcohol. It was very clear that I get to tie my family together – those who have passed on and those in my life right now. I remember who I am

By loving myself, I can ripple out and love my family, my community, my world with greater passion, creativity and commitment. I have come to know who I am and the role I play in healing a troubled world. Instead of feeling exhausted when I wake up, I feel energized and excited to take on the day; to take on my life! I know who I am and where I came from

The greatest lesson I learned about myself through the Impact Training is that I made a contract before I cam here to move, touch and inspire~to be my contribution to this world by simply “being”. I also learned that there is so much work to do so I get to go to work now! My vision of a healed world is a place of peace, love and healing. A place of safety, trust and learning where inspiration and unconditional love abound…and so it is! The greatest way my life has changed as a result of the Impact Training ining is that I know who I am and where I came from. I know my purpose in life and the commitment I made to make a difference in this world through sharing my love and light with all of God’s children and embracing the gifts of love this world has to offer. To be that beacon of light and source of strength to those who have lost their way and so have forgotten themselves. This is my world.

Trusting myself

The greatest lesson I learned about myself through the Impact Training is that I am! I have beautiful gifts that rarely get to be shared and in turn experienced by me and the world. I had not forgotten my power, I was not allowing it. It ~ my power ~ never goes away. I learned to believe in that. I am beautiful! I am blessed! I would be me again and again if given the chance, but I got to share and empower and inspire. There are people, nature, spirit, angels, on and on to support me in being. My greatest lesson from Impact Training came in seeing myself as I am with all power and light. Seeing myself creates trust from within. My history, hiding, walls and avoidance were extensive and ingrained through years of experience. Completing Lift Off eliminated those defenses that were damaging to my happiness and relationships. Changes that will remain forever. My vision of a healed world is one of greater awareness toward physical and spiritual interaction. The greatest lesson I learned abut myself is that I am not my experiences. I learned that I am absolutely perfect and deserving. I learned to not only trust myself but to LOVE myself. I am powerful beyond measure

I am powerful beyond measure. Living small does not serve me.
